It's in my blood.
Since I was given my first camera, when I was a little kid, I have always been fascinated by capturing in a shot what my eyes were seeing around me. The beauty of nature or the smile of a friend, an event or an emotion... Precious pearls to be framed in a photo. Whether freezing a movement or moving the stillness, looking at normality through a different angle or portraying the exceptional, I can choose different perspectives, I can catch reality. I think this passion is in my blood, I inherited it from my Grandpa and then from my Dad, and it has always had a great influence in my life. Come and follow me in my journey searching impressions of life.

Portobello Road – part 2

Here is the second part of this post. You can see the first part here.

After taking a quick look at one of the side streets – where we found the stand of a baker girl whose cakes were delicious – we continued down Portobello Road.

It's not just the double row of stands all along the street, but there is also a great number of interesting shops on the sides. So you soon find yourself going in and out to look at a nice variety of things that stimulates your impulse into buying... as well as your creativity behind the camera!

Denise stopped in a tea shop – there's never enough tea in the house – and I took advantage of that while she was choosing the right teas... For these I opted for the color version.

But didn't forget the black and white.

And then out again on the street.

Even though it didn't strike me as such a rigid scheme, the street is kind of divided in sections and as we kept going, we found more and more antique stands and stores.

This incredible display of sewing machines was inside a store. Here you can see only a minimal part of what was there: incredible!
